About This Course
This course is based on the Anapanasati Sutta (MN 118), one of the most important discourses on meditation in the Pali Canon. The practice of mindfulness of breathing was central to the Buddha's own path to awakening and remains one of the most widely practiced forms of meditation today.
Drawing from Early Buddhist texts, this course presents the practice in a clear, systematic way that is accessible to both beginners and experienced practitioners. The material is drawn from the same tradition as the companion book, Anapanasati Sutta: A Concise Practice Guide by Nalaka Gooneratne, MD.
